Simpson's first Christmas album ReJoyce was released in 2004 and was certified gold. The actress made her debut in the movie The Dukes of Hazzard (2005) as Daisy Duke. She also composed the cover version of "These Boots are Made for Walking" to be used in the soundtrack of the film. The year 2006 saw the release of her fifth studio album A Public Affair. She also appeared in the romantic comedy movie Employee of the Month. Simpson made her debut in country music with the release of Do You Know (2008) which was her sixth studio album. Simpson also launched The Jessica Simpson Collection, an apparel-focused line that includes 34 categories of merchandise. To date, the brand has generated over $1 billion in sales and is the highest-performing famous licensing company in the history of. Simpson also appeared in The Price of Beauty, which was a reality-TV show in the year 2010. She also judged the designs for clothing for Fashion Star 2 and 3. Simpson is married to Eric Johnson with whom she has three kids.
